The Good, The Bad & the Downright Dodgy

22nd April @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

$30.00

Another fund-raising event for Harper’s. This time a conversation between two historians about the very different characters featured in their recent books – the upright Edward Charles Close and the questionable Laurence Hynes Halloran, both of whom had lasting impacts on the colony of NSW. Plus wine and nibbles.

The historians? Ann Beaumont, who most of you would know, and Jan Worthington. Jan, has been a long-time supporter of Harper’s, runs her own genealogy and family history research firm and, an additional point to commend her, is that she is is Amanda Mackevicius’ mother.

You can also make a direct on-line payment from the website – www.harpersmansion.com.au. Wine and nibbles will be served after the ‘conversation’. Please help Harpers by forwarding this information to any of your friends that might be interested.
